My journey to Empire State Planning Group has been a rewarding one. With a bachelor’s degree in TV and Radio, I spent over 15 years in human resources before taking time off to be with my young children. Later, I transitioned into education, working with elementary-aged children with special needs. I loved that work, but when my friend Jon Schlueter suggested a change, I was intrigued by the opportunity to work in a more structured and quieter environment where I could use my organizational skills.
I started working with Jon in August 2014, and it’s been a great fit. Being close to home is convenient, but what really stands out is Jon’s passion for his work. He's a great boss and gives me the space to learn about the business, which helps me provide the best service to our clients. My path has been varied, but it led me to a place where my skills and enthusiasm can be put to good use.
